My father passed in 2016 and since (2020) we had been just getting by handling mums care who has Alzheimer’s/dementia. In 2020, Mum got sick and being quiet a stubborn person we needed to find a female nurse that could do home visits. After a few calls, I somehow luckily found Cal and from our first call together I cried a lot as mum wasn’t the easiest dementia patient (meaning she doesn’t take to people easily). We arranged to meet at mum’s to try to gently let her know that medication now had to be administered daily by Cal. Mum tried her ways to put Cal off &  with everything she tried, Cal just handled her marvellously! Mum quickly realised she didn’t just have a nurse, she had a family member in Cal. I was amazed that within 15 mins I wasn’t needed, I sat back and they were fine and I had never seen this before. Cal made Mum feel safe, at ease & heard while providing outstanding care. Cal is now not only mum’s permanent nurse but she’s like family. If you’re looking for a nurse that cares & provides an outstanding organised nursing service look no further!
