Do I need a referral for a continence assessment?

How long does a continence assessment take?
Most assessments take approximately 45–90 minutes, depending on the complexity of your situation. Your nurse will allow enough time to conduct a thorough evaluation, discuss findings with you, and begin developing a management plan before leaving. A written report is provided following the visit.
